Card format Overview

A proprietary 75-bit card format used in access control systems, featuring a unique structure composed of 14-bit site code, 20-bit card number, 14-bit agency code, and 25-bit expiration date, and 2 parity bits (even and odd), allowing for easy management and avoiding card number duplication for secure, contactless access.

Site Code

14 bits. The facility code range is 0 to 16,383.

Card Number

20 bits. A unique serial number (0-1,048,575) for each card within that facility code.

Agency Code

14 bits (Bits 2-15), range 0-16,383.

Expiration Date

25 bits (Bits 50-74), range 0-33,554,431.

Even parity

Even Parity for Even parity over bits 1-37.

Odd parity

Odd Parity for Odd parity over bits 38-74.
