AccessGrid Updates
The latest features, updates, improvements, and architectural releases from the AccessGrid team.
We've made our best features available to all customers moving forward. There are no more restrictions on API endpoints.
We added the ability to see how notifications look with your icon in the card template editor.
In order to provide more flexible support for Key Diversification in DESFire, we added the ability to skip system ID. Please read the docs for more information.
We have released a tool for people to understand our key diversification more easily. It's a calculator and you can find it here: https://accessgrid.com/tools/key-diversification
In the card template editor, click settings and you'll be able to hide the organization name that shows up on the back of the pass for DESFire based Apple Wallet credentials.
Adds SMTP2GO as a third outbound email provider alongside SendGrid and Postmark integrations. Available in integrations console.
Paginated, newest first, .kept only, scoped to the account. Same envelope as the pairs and webhooks lists. Docs available here: https://accessgrid.com/docs/card-template#list-card-templates
Only available to select customers in limited environments, with our approval.
You can now request an Origo integration by calling the account orgs API, which will return an email address for the end user to add to their Origo account as an admin. Read the docs here: https://accessgrid.com/docs/hid-org
You can now generate a shareable preview of how your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass will look in-app, without having an AccessGrid account. Try it here: https://accessgrid.com/tools/card-art-preview/apple/corporate-badge
We've added support for sharing to multi-family passes. This means both Apple and Android users can share the access pass for their residence. Apple shares only to other iPhones, Android shares to both device types.
We've updated our API to allow credential profiles to be deactivated. You can read about technical details here: https://accessgrid.com/docs/credential-profile#delete-credential-profile
We now support multi-family access passes for MIFARE DESFire on Apple devices. You can create card templates in the console or via API. Documentation updated with appropriate tags.
The billing statement download link was previously not working, we have resolved the issue and customers can now download statements from prior months.
Update the API so that partners can set android_device_limit or title_label via API. Docs available here: https://accessgrid.com/docs/card-template#create-card-template
We've made a security improvement to webhooks. You must now verify that you are in control of the domain by responding to a challenge before we post webhook events to any given URL. Your webhook will not send any events if it is unverified and instructions to verify will be displayed until you verify ownership of the URL. Read more here:
We've added a download link for the answers to common security questions at accessgrid.com/security
